This course can prepare you to do your first psychological evaluation of an immigrant, often a refugee, facing deportation. The course covers asylum cases very thoroughly; and briefly describes doing Violence Against Women (aka VAWA), Hardship, T-Visa (labor & sex trafficking) and U-Visa (witness to a crime) type cases. Free membership in our Zoom monthly Friday 11 am Mentoring and Support Consultation group. We meet monthly via Zoom, at no charge, to help you with your first evaluation reports.
It is 5 hours and comes with 5 CEU’s (continuing education units) co-sponsored by the California Association of Marriage & Family Therapists. It is your responsibility to determine if your state professional board accepts the CEU’s from CAMFT of California.
